Everything About One Thing - Editorial

ISTD 'Everything About One Thing' 2014 brief. I chose 'Serendipity' as my thing. Serendipity the mysterious phenomenon! Often thought of as just a happy accident, so I wanted to give it a deeper association for people to think of it with. It is about 'Luck' but it is also about 'Intuition' and it's a skill not merely an accident. Designed as an A6 concertina booklet.

Brief

Gather a complete knowledge about one single thing and make that accessible for the public in the form of either a book, magazine or digital presence.

Choose one thing, object, word, term – whatever you wish. The more specific, the more you can zoom in and go into details, the better. Observe it, analyse it, take it to pieces, deconstruct it. Include and mention every detail that, in your opinion, makes it complete. Look at it from perspectives you haven’t considered before, discover it in different ways. Work specifically, accurately and keep very much to the point.
